Paul Heyman played a pivotal role in the production of A&E’s upcoming Biography: WWE Legends episode featuring Roman Reigns.

 

Scheduled to debut on A&E at 9 p.m. Eastern time next Sunday (March 31), WWE has revealed that Heyman not only directed the Biography episode but also served as an executive producer.

In anticipation of the documentary’s premiere, WWE made an announcement today regarding Heyman’s involvement. Reigns himself shared his thoughts, stating, “I wanted the most authentic documentary in the history of #WWEonAE. The Wiseman was the only one who could do this story the justice it deserves. There’s so much about me that I’ve never discussed in public before. This is the true story of Joe Anoa’i and Roman Reigns!”

The partnership between Heyman and Reigns dates back to August 2020 on WWE television. Reigns has praised Heyman, calling their alliance a “performance enhancer.”

The release of the Biography: WWE Legends episode is strategically timed just ahead of WrestleMania 40. Heyman and Reigns are poised to play significant roles during WrestleMania weekend festivities.

Heyman is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on Friday, April 5. The following night, Heyman will be by Reigns & The Rock’s side as they face Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins in the main event of WrestleMania 40 night one.

The WrestleMania 40 extravaganza will continue into night two, headlined by Reigns defending the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes.

This season of Biography: WWE Legends has also showcased episodes centered on Randy Orton, Sgt. Slaughter, Scott Hall, Diamond Dallas Page, and “British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith.

LOS ANGELES, CA — No one won the massive Powerball jackpot Saturday, but the drawing made one lucky local an overnight multimillionaire.

A ticket with five of the winning numbers was sold in Sun Valley, and it’s worth $2,462,356, according to the California Lottery.

The ticket sold at the 7-Eleven at 12500 Roscoe Boulevard was the only one with five winning numbers sold in California. It had all five matching number but was missing the Powerball number. Similar tickets were sold in Indiana, Texas, Washington and Florida.

With no tickets hitting all six numbers in Saturday’s drawing, the estimated jackpot for Monday’s drawing is expected to reach $800 million.

Saturday’s winning numbers were 6, 23, 25, 34, 51 and the Powerball number was 3. There have been 35 drawings since the last jackpot was won. Players have a 1 in 292.2 million chance of winning the jackpot, according to lottery officials.

California Lottery players have won, or co-won, the top four largest jackpots in Powerball history — all worth more than $1 billion. The winning ticket for the largest jackpot ever — a $2.04 billion Powerball jackpot — was sold in Los Angeles County and claimed in 2023. This month, the winner of last year’s $1.765 billion Powerball jackpot — the second largest jackpot in United States history — was identified as Theodorus Struyck of California.

For every Powerball or Mega Millions ticket sold in California, approximately 80 cents goestoward public schools, according to the lottery.

We were front row, dead centre, facing the hard camera, my wife was wearing a Leaf jersey. It was a great night. Full house, hot crowd all night.

Some random thoughts.

-The crowd was all over Chris Jericho and booed him the entire match. The prevailing thought around us was that Jericho should have given more to Hook and lost faster; it should have been a squash.

-Kazuchika Okada was super over, but it was still 60-40 with Eddie Kingston.

-Mercedes Moné got triple the pop of any other woman all night.

-Adam Copeland vs. Christian Cage was the hottest match I’ve ever seen live, and that includes Hulk Hogan vs. Warrior in 1991. This was an experience to be part of.

-Don Callis is respectfully booed so loudly you can’t hear a word he says.

-The women’s street fight was third loudest match of the night.

-Tony Khan pretty much promised us a PPV after Rampage went off the air.

Just a great show, and everyone around us kept talking about how AEW “is back.” It was like being part of your home team winning a playoff game. People are really liking the direction things are headed with AEW.

On Saturday, the company issued a press release to announce back-to-back nights at the Washington Avenue Armory in Albany, New York on May 3 and May 4 for TNA Under Siege 2024 and a follow-up TNA iMPACT On AXS TV taping.

Two Nights of Pro Wrestling at the Washington Avenue Armory, May 3-4, With Multiple Championship Matches

TNA Wrestling presents back-to-back nights of high-energy live pro wrestling on Friday and Saturday, May 3-4. Both shows will originate from the Washington Avenue Armory – and all TNA championships will be on the line in Albany, as TNA makes its long-awaited return to Albany for the first time since October 2022.

The action kicks off Friday with UNDER SIEGE, which will air live on the TNA+ app, including title matches for the TNA World Championship, the Knockouts World Championship and much, much more. Then, on Saturday, the TNA television trucks will be in Albany to capture all the in-ring action for upcoming episodes of the company’s flagship weekly TV show that airs at 8 p.m. EST every Thursday night (AXS TV in the U.S., Fight Network in Canada).

Tickets for both Albany shows go on-sale Saturday, March 23, at 10 a.m. EST at Ticketmaster.com or TNAWrestling.com.

TNA Wrestling will bring all the superstars to Albany, including Josh Alexander, Brian Myers, KUSHIDA, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Moose and Jordynne Grace, among others.
