After more than a year away from the ring, Randy Orton is returning to action.
Last night's Raw ended with it being revealed that Orton will be the final member of Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Seth Rollins & Sami Zayn's team at Survivor Series. They're facing Damian Priest, Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh & Drew McIntyre in the men's WarGames match at this Saturday's premium live event.
WWE never officially said Orton's name last night, but they confirmed on social media that Orton will be returning in WarGames. Needing to find another partner with McIntyre now on Judgment Day's team, Rhodes made a call to an old friend who agreed to help him out at Survivor Series.
Rhodes made it clear that Orton is the fifth member of their team. Rhodes said their partner is someone he has a "legacy" with. Someone who is an "apex predator." As the crowd chanted "Randy," Rhodes told the fans that they're right.
This will be Orton's first match since May 2022. Orton underwent surgery last year for a career-threatening back injury.
Jey Uso looked concerned when Rhodes announced Orton as their partner. Orton was feuding with The Usos prior to being forced out of action.
McIntyre defeated Uso in last night's main event to earn the WarGames advantage for the heels.
