The first official poster for the upcoming live-action Lion King movie has officially arrived.
Featuring a young Simba with his paw in an imprint left behind from what is presumably his father Mufasa, the poster shows a highly-realistic CGI rendering of the young lion inside a cave. Young Simba will be voiced by JD McCrary while adult Simba will be handled by Donald Glover.
The rest of the cast has been revealed as well, including Beyoncé as an adult Nala, John Oliver as Zazu, James Earl Jones reprising his role as Mufasa, and many more.
Featuring a new song recorded by Beyoncé and Elton John, The Lion King hits cinemas on July 19, 2019. The first teaser trailer, which was unveiled alongside the poster, can be watched below.
