Crumbl Cookies was founded by cousins Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley. The first store opened in Logan, Utah, in 2017.
Since then, the company has expanded to over 940 locations across the country, according to their website.
The cookies have gone viral online in recent years, especially on TikTok, where users often unveil their orders in Crumbl Cookies’s iconic pink packaging.
Each week, the menu rotates to give customers six new gourmet flavors to experience. The menu is also tailored toward upcoming holidays. Weekly flavors will be announced every Sunday at 8 p.m. on all of Crumbl’s social media accounts.
Justin said he first tried Crumbl Cookies almost three years ago and fell in love with them. He went to find the nearest location, but there weren’t any. Wanting to fill a need, he decided to become a franchisee with his brother, Scott.
“It’s been fantastic,” Scott said. “Getting to work with my brother… It’s been a wonderful experience.”
According to the company, the Stamford location is providing over 35 career opportunities to Stamford locals.
The store will be open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to midnight.
