PLAINFIELD, IL — The restaurant space formerly belonging to Tap House Grill in downtown Plainfield is up and running again as of Wednesday.
Fuse’d is the latest concept from the Major Threat Restaurant Group, which also operates Khaos Brewcade, Craft’d and Chop’d in the village. It began serving hungry diners Wednesday afternoon.
As of opening day, reservations were required for table service, and bar seating is first-come, first-served.

Fuse’d, at 24402 W. Lockport St., across from Village Hall, took over the space formerly occupied by Tap House Grill, which closed suddenly in January. The new restaurant’s website urges guests to “embark on a culinary odyssey … where global flavors and a warm welcome await.”
