Omos will be making his Pro Wrestling NOAH debut at ‘The New Year 2025’ event on January 1.

The WWE Superstar will be teaming up with Jack Morris to challenge Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura for the GHC Tag Team Championships.

At a press conference on Friday, Omos discussed his upcoming match. While Morris couldn’t attend due to travel issues, Omos confidently stated that even if his partner didn’t make it, he would handle Marufuji and Sugiura on his own. He stated.

“I want to leave my mark on this country as a giant. [If I win], I’ll aim for more titles.”

Shinsuke Nakamura says he’s excited about his upcoming match against Ulka Sasaki at NOAH’s ‘The New Year 2025’ event.

Speaking at a press conference in Tokyo on Friday, Nakamura expressed his enthusiasm for facing Sasaki, someone he lured into the ring two years ago. He said,

“I am enjoying one thing, being able to fight against Ulka, who I lured into the ring two years ago. The Nippon Budokan is the place where I made my debut. There’s no reason not to bring the belt (WWE US Championship) as a triumphant return.”

Sasaki later chimed in, saying,

“People think that I will lose but I’m going to win, I know I’m going to beat him. To be frank, I like Shinsuke Nakamura but I don’t like professional wrestler Shinsuke Nakamura.”

Heading into the final episode of WWE SmackDown of 2024, Nick Aldis appeared on X with a video including some announcements for the show.

The WWE SmackDown General Manager announced Bianca Belair, Naomi & Bayley vs. Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton & Candice LeRae in a six-woman tag-team bout.

Additionally, the WWE Women’s U.S. Championship Celebration of Chelsea Green has been announced, as well as Aldis addressing Kevin Owens’ attack of Cody Rhodes.

Some updates have surfaced regarding plans for tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown.

Ahead of the final episode of the weekly two-hour WWE on USA Network blue brand show for 2024, some updates regarding plans for the show have surfaced, including some expected matches.

Heading into tonight’s show, the only thing advertised is an appearance by Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

In an update, Wrestle Votes is reporting that the 12/27 show tonight in Tampa, FL. will also feature Bianca Belair, Naomi & Bayley vs. Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton & Candice LeRae.

Zelina Vega is out of the running in the WWE Speed Women’s No. 1 Contender Tournament.

Ahead of the special second episode of WWE Speed on X today, the company announced a change to the originally scheduled lineup.

Vega was originally scheduled to face Natalya in the quarterfinals of the WWE Speed Women’s No. 1 Contender Tournament, however due to injury, she has been pulled from the bout.

In her place will be B-Fab, who squared off against Nattie in the changed quarterfinal tourney tilt.

The numbers are in for this week’s episode of WWE NXT.

The Wednesday, December 24, 2024 episode of WWE NXT on The CW Network drew 723,000 viewers, according to Wrestle Nomics.

By comparison, the previous week’s show on December 17 drew 708,000 viewers, marking an increase of 15,000 viewers for this week’s Christmas Eve episode.

The NXT on CW show drew a 0.14 rating in the coveted 18 to 49 year old demographic, which is down from the 0.16 rating in the same key demo on the 12/17 show last week.

Wrestle Nomics is reporting that the episode of WWE Raw on Monday, December 23, 2024 drew 1.453 million viewers on the USA Network.

By comparison, this is down from the previous week’s show on December 16, which finished with 1.522 million viewers.

WWE Raw this week drew a 0.42 rating in the coveted 18 to 49 year old demographic, which is down from the 0.48 rating in the same key demo for the 12/16 episode.
