Another update regarding the WWE status of Alexa Bliss has surfaced.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com is reporting that there has been “a lot of talk about Alexa Bliss in WWE creative circles” in recent days and weeks.

WWE President Nick Khan Addresses Rumors Surrounding Changes To WWE Raw Ahead Of Netflix Debut Episode

WWE Raw is going to continue to be the same family-friendly show we’ve all come to expect as we head into 2025.

Ahead of the highly-anticipated move of WWE Raw from USA Network to Netflix on January 6, a WWE press event was held this week at Netflix Headquarters in Los Angeles, CA. to begin the big promotional push.

During the mainstream media event in L.A. on 12/3, WWE President Nick Khan spoke with Sports Illustrated to discuss some rumors surrounding WWE Raw on Netflix.

“We’re not changing the rating of our programming,” Khan said of rumors of the show changing from the TV-PG rating to Rated-R or others. “There’s some online chatter about, oh, it’s gonna be R rated, or for us old folks, like X rated. That’s definitely not happening. So it’s family friendly, multi-generational, advertiser friendly programming. It’s gonna stay that way. I would look for more global flair, especially as the relationship [with Netflix] continues to develop.”

Carson Drake is your new NWA World Television Champion.

On this week’s episode of NWA Powerrr, Drake defeated Max the Impaler to capture the title.

You can check out the official announcement below:

Carson Drake did the unimaginable! On today’s episode of NWA Powerrr, he up-ended “Father” James Mitchell’s Max the Impaler to become the new National Wrestling Alliance World Television Champion.

New World Television Champion Crowned on ‘NWA Powerrr’
Max the Impaler has been dethroned!
On the Dec. 10 episode of NWA Powerrr, Carson B. Drake did the unthinkable! Drake up-ended “The Non-Binary Nightmare” to become the new National Wrestling Alliance World Television Champion.
Drake’s climb to the coveted title began when he narrowly survived an earlier match with “The Warlord of the Wasteland.” Though Max the Impaler dominated much of the confrontation, neither competitor was able to secure victory within the customary 6:05 time limit for TV title matches broadcast on NWA Powerrr.

“Max battered Carson Drake throughout their battle,” says NWA Chief Operating Officer Joe Galli.

“My personal opinion calling the match was Carson barely survived in one piece,” continues Galli, also NWA’s senior broadcaster each week on NWA Powerrr. “He seemed to see things quite differently though. Carson told anyone who would listen Max could not beat him and demanded a rematch!”

Bolstered by the previous time limit draw, “CBD” received his second opportunity for the title at Samhain 2. A confident “Father” James Mitchell readily accepted on behalf of Max, the manager’s boundary-breaking monstrosity, demanding a “Hell Awaits” match at the Signature Live Event. With no time limit, no count-outs and no disqualifications, the action spilled throughout the WEDU Studios in Tampa.

Again Max dominated the majority of the clash, but a misguided assist by “The Sinister Minister” proved the deciding factor. In a shocking turn, Drake rolled a distracted Max up for a three-count, ending their historic reign with the NWA World TV title. Afterward, the enraged former champion unleashed a hellacious lariat on the managerial legend.

Now the future is uncertain for Max the Impaler. However, the path ahead for the newly-crowned TV champion is confirmed. He’s riding the biggest high of his career to date.

Drake entered the National Wrestling Alliance by way of NWA Exodus Pro – Midwest earlier this year. His questionable tactics and self-aggrandizing attitude won few friends, but quickly moved “The Most Successful Man in NWA” into title contention.

Drake competed for the National title at NWA 76. In Philadelphia he appeared to willingly allow “Big Strong” Mims to defeat him in the final moments of a four-way elimination match to fill the vacant championship.

Soon after, Drake targeted the World Television title. To many, Max the Impaler — who defeated Mims for the title in January 2024 at NWA Paranoia to begin a reign of terror as both the unified NWA World Television and Women’s tv champion — seemed an unstoppable force.

With a landmark victory on his side, and one of the most legendary titles in pro wrestling history around his waist, Drake moves toward 2025 more sure of himself than ever. However, he does face imminent challenges ahead.

NWA Looks That Kill is scheduled Dec. 14 in Dothan, AL. On Jan. 11, 2025, NWA SHOCKWAVE electrifies Forney, TX.

Both NWA Signature Live Events are expected to have all National Wrestling Alliance championships on the line. Drake’s opponents have not yet been named for either, but the NWA World Television title might well be up-for-grabs at each.

And finally, New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced the full lineup for the NJPW Strong Style Evolved event, which takes place on December 15th.

In the main event, Mercedes Mone will be facing off against Hazuki.

You can check out the full lineup and match order for the show below:

* NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship: Mercedes Moné (c) vs Hazuki
* Los Ingobernables De Japon (Shingo Takagi & Yota Tsuji) vs Konosuke Takeshita & Jack Perry

Lockport Family's Holiday Display Features 20,000 Lights

LOCKPORT, IL — 20,000 lights synced up to music is what you’ll see at the Billquist family’s holiday light display in Lockport.

Lights on McCabe can be seen at 17920 S. McCabe Lane in Lockport, and the family has been “going all out with Christmas lights for years,” Gus Billquist told Patch.

“My older brother actually got me hooked with his display of the more traditional, incandescent, multi-color lights years and years ago,” Billquist said.

Find out what's happening in Homer Glen-Lockportwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

The family kept that same theme originally, and added more and more every year until the whole house was decorated.

“Each year, as the kids got older and got more into it, we kind of ran out of more things to add without making it look like too much,” Billquist said.

Deciding to take it to the “next level,” the family dove head-first into computer-controlled lights.

” We started transitioning from traditional LED lights into these new controllable lights about three years ago,” Billquist said.

Now in its fourth year, the holiday light display is synced up to music, and the show with music runs from 4:30 to 5 p.m., and a show without music from 5 to 10 p.m.

“Each year we phase out more and more of the traditional lights and add more of the new lights,” Billquist said. “We spend a lot of the year preparing new things, adding new songs and working on the display to get ready for the Christmas season. We already have plans for next year’s expansion. We really do just love seeing the community happy when they come by.”
