On if he thinks John Cena will overtake Ric Flair’s record of 16 world titles in his final year in WWE in 2025: “Absolutely. John is neck and neck with Hulk Hogan as the biggest star of our business ever. You have to give him the 17 world titles and he can be the guy who says he has the most world titles ever. I’m going to go with Randy Orton (as the opponent he should win to break Flair’s record) because he might be the best professional wrestler on the card now and that would be a great matchup. It could be against somebody younger to elevate that wrestler to John Cena’s level. Randy has been phenomenal. I remember when Randy when he first started and was a natural in the ring. He’s progressed and has become the best professional wrestler in the locker room. Maybe John Cena wins the Royal Rumble and then gets the title shot at WrestleMania and wins.

On if he thinks they need a fresh storyline for Randy: “You have so many guys under contract and guys in the locker room so you can’t necessarily get everybody on TV but he is one guy that can contribute and should be. Maybe he’s a little banged up or taking time off with his family but sometimes they will pull someone off TV for a little bit and then bring them back with a really big push so maybe that’s what they are going to do with Randy.”

On what he makes of WWE since Endeavor has been in charge: “They are making more money now than they ever have. They are on an all-time high if not, then definitely on a high. All of the wrestling follows the WWE whether that’s AEW, Ring of Honor, NWA, TNA and all of the independent shows so wrestling is really florishing and doing well which is really great.”

On his thoughts of CM Punk’s WWE return: “He has had a following since the first time he was in WWE and people were dying for him to come back. People really didn’t know if CM Punk was going to do it or not but when he did, everybody went absolutely crazy.”

On what he envisions for Punk’s final WWE run and if he thinks he’ll have a title run: “I don’t see why not, he is one of the top guys. He’s making a huge impact there so why wouldn’t you. Maybe he will headline against Seth Rollins (at WrestleMania) I don’t see why he can’t. He is one of the main event stars.”

On what Punk is like in the locker room in his experiences: “CM Punk is a nice guy; I like him a lot and I wasn’t around him a lot, but I never had a bad experience. I never saw him in a bad mood or arguing or being rude with people. Punk was always smiling, joking around and always working hard.”
