PISCATAWAY, NJ — If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, April 6 and 7 is the opening weekend for East Jersey Old Town Village in Piscataway.
East Jersey Old Town Village is a historic village from the American Revolutionary War period. It is a collection of houses and buildings that have been preserved from 1700s America.
They will kick off the 2024 season with a bang from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday. Join historical interpreters as the Village springs to life through reenactments, trades and crafts. The weather is supposed to be beautiful on Sunday, so it’s a great day to get the kids and entire family outside, and learn more about the rich history of New Jersey.

Additionally, visitors can explore the Micah Williams Exhibit at the Cornelius Low House, which showcases Middlesex and Monmouth County residents and their role in U.S. history.

East Jersey Old Town Village and the Cornelius Low House are free and open to the public year-round, Wednesday through Sunday with living history interpreters onsite from April through October and a packed schedule of special events.
