WALLINGFORD, CT — Green Kettle Coffee in Wallingford is adding a mobile espresso cart as the coffee shop enters its second year in business, according to owner Kristen Gilbride.
While an official launch date hasn’t been set for the mobile espresso cart, Gilbride said they are planning on getting it up and running in March.

One of the cart’s features will be a latte art printer that made its debut this week in conjunction with the launch of the shop’s Valentine’s Day menu, according to Gilbride.

“Since we’re heading into our second year of business, we’re excited to bring more innovative and fun things to the table,” Gilbride said. “For this latte art printer, we can print on any foamy drink – think cappuccino and cold foam. We preloaded a few Valentine’s Day-themed images, but we’re excited to be offering an option to get yourself or even a picture of your pet printed on the drink.”
The Valentine’s Day menu includes the My Honey Bun Cold Brew, a cold brew with cinnamon bun cold foam and a printed Valentine’s-themed image or a selfie on the top of the drink, according to Gilbride.

Gilbride said the Valentine’s menu is “packed with love-themed drinks,” including two bestsellers from last year – Ride or Chai and Cupid’s Bow Latte – along with four brand-new drink creations.
Green Kettle Coffee, located at 208 Center St. in Wallingford, is also partnering with local chocolate shop Donovan’s Family Confections to do a coffee-chocolate pairing, according to Gilbride.
“Katie Donovan helped us make a few custom flavors that pair with each drink on our Valentine’s Day menu,” Gilbride said. “To further the collaboration, Katie used Kouign’s (another Wallingford business) cinnamon buns to make the bonbon that pairs with My Honey Bun Cold Brew.”
