Heading into 2025, it has been officially announced by WWE that the weekly Friday Night SmackDown show on the USA Network will be expanding to three hours starting next year.

As noted, WWE Superstars on the WWE Raw brand have been reportedly kept in the dark regarding the plans for the red brand show going into the New Year, as nothing has been officially announced by WWE yet in terms of the length of the show upon debuting on Netflix on January 6.

In an update, longtime Wrestling Observer Newsletter editor Dave Meltzer reported at F4WOnline.com that “a key player in WWE” has confirmed that Raw will, in fact, expand to three hours as well upon debuting on Netflix at the beginning of the New Year.

“While everyone expects this, it was confirmed by someone who is a key player in WWE that Raw will be three hours come January to go along with SmackDown being three hours,” Meltzer wrote.

Ric Flair Says John Cena Doesn’t Want To Break His World Title Record, Thinks Charlotte Flair Will Do It

“The Nature Boy” Ric Flair appeared as a guest on Busted Open Radio this week for an in-depth interview covering all things pro wrestling.

During the discussion, the multiple-time WWE Hall of Fame legend spoke about how he expects Charlotte Flair, not John Cena, to ultimately be the one to break his legendary 16-time world championship reign record.

“It’s time,” Flair said. “John Cena doesn’t want to break the record, he doesn’t given a sh*t about that. John is in a different world now. Wrestling will always be his passion, but he doesn’t care about beating (the record).”

“Naitch” went on to explain how Charlotte Flair will likely be the one to surpass his record, and how it will be “the biggest thing in the business” when it happens.

–>

–>

“I still think the biggest thing in the business, when it happens, it’ll be a real game changer, just like she is in real life, is her breaking the title record or even tying it,” Flair said of his daughter, Charlotte Flair. “I believe it’s in the cards. I can look at the show and watch. It’s a woman’s world now and she’s the best woman’s wrestler alive. I think maybe this time off, as unfortunate as it was because of the severity of the injury, I think she’s been able to look back and realize just how damn good she is. I guarantee, when she walks back in the door at whatever show, SmackDown or Raw, it’s a game changer. I would bet $10,000 that the first match she wrestles, if it’s a good opponent, would get a rating that will be the highest women’s rating in a long time in a singles match.”

WHICH TYPE OF GEOTEXTILE IS BEST FOR YOUR NEEDS?

Which Type of Geotextile is Best for Your Needs?

Which Type of Geotextile is Best for Your Needs?

When it comes to selecting the right geotextile material for your project, its crucial to understand the various types available and how each can benefit your specific needs. Geotextiles are synthetic fabrics used in a variety of civil engineering, construction, and landscaping applications. They provide solutions for drainage, erosion control, reinforcement, and separation. This article will help you identify the best geotextile for your project by exploring different types, their benefits, and the factors that can influence your decision.

I.Understanding Geotextiles

A geotextile is a permeable fabric material, typically made from polymers like polypropylene or polyester, which can be used for a variety of applications such as soil stabilization, filtration, and drainage. There are different types of geotextiles, and each type offers distinct advantages depending on your projects specific requirements.

II.The Main Types of Geotextiles

The two primary categories of geotextiles are woven and nonwoven. Understanding these types will help you determine which is the best geotextile for your needs.

Woven Geotextile Fabric

Woven geotextile fabric is created by weaving threads together to form a grid pattern, making it highly durable and strong. This type of geotextile is ideal for applications that require high tensile strength and resistance to stretching. Woven geotextiles are commonly used in applications like road construction, railroad subgrades, and large-scale erosion control projects. Because of its structure, woven geotextile fabric excels in load-bearing capacities and is especially effective in reinforcing weak soils or stabilizing large areas that need support.

Nonwoven Geotextiles

Nonwoven geotextiles, on the other hand, are created through a process of bonding fibers together using heat, chemicals, or needles. These materials are typically more flexible and have excellent drainage properties. Nonwoven geotextiles are commonly used for filtration, drainage, and erosion control in applications like landscaping, construction of ponds, or in areas where water needs to flow freely through the fabric. Their porous nature allows water to pass through easily, making them the best geotextile for applications where water drainage is essential.

Knitted Geotextiles

Knitted geotextiles are created by interlocking loops of yarn, and though they are less common than woven or nonwoven types, they do offer specific advantages. Knitted geotextiles have excellent stretchability and are often used in applications that require both strength and flexibility.

III.Key Benefits of Using Geotextiles

Geotextiles are incredibly versatile and provide a variety of benefits, including:

Erosion Control: Whether it’s a construction site or a landscaping project, geotextiles help prevent soil erosion by stabilizing the soil. This function is essential in areas where there is a high risk of soil erosion due to wind or water.

Drainage: Geotextiles are crucial in facilitating drainage in areas prone to waterlogging. By allowing water to pass through the fabric, they help maintain soil stability and prevent the buildup of water that could lead to flooding or soil degradation.

Separation: In many civil engineering applications, geotextiles are used to separate different soil layers. For instance, they can separate the subgrade soil from gravel or sand in road construction, helping maintain the structural integrity of the road.

Reinforcement: Geotextiles can be used to reinforce weak soils by increasing their load-bearing capacity. This is particularly useful in areas with unstable soil or where the soil has a low bearing capacity, such as in foundation work or under roads and railways.

IV.Selecting the Best Geotextile for Your Project

Choosing the best geotextile depends on the specific needs of your project. Several factors influence the decision, including:

Soil Type: The type of soil you are working with plays a significant role in selecting the right geotextile. For instance, if you are working with sandy soil, you may require a geotextile that has strong drainage properties. On the other hand, if you are dealing with soft, clayey soil, a woven geotextile fabric may be more suitable for reinforcing the area.

Project Application: The intended use of the geotextile is crucial. For filtration and drainage purposes, nonwoven geotextiles are often the best option. For projects requiring high tensile strength, such as road construction, woven geotextiles are preferred.

Durability: The environmental conditions your geotextile will face are also an important consideration. For outdoor projects that will be exposed to harsh conditions, UV stability and resistance to wear and tear are critical factors.

V.How to Ensure You Choose the Best Geotextile

To ensure youre selecting the best geotextile fabric for your project, consider purchasing from a trusted manufacturer with experience in producing high-quality geotextiles. As a leading manufacturer of geotextiles, we understand the importance of providing durable, reliable, and cost-effective materials. Our factory uses the latest technology to produce both woven geotextile fabric and nonwoven options to suit a wide range of project requirements.

When selecting geotextiles, it is also helpful to work with an expert who can assess your needs and guide you toward the right material. By ensuring that you choose the right type of geotextile for your application, you can avoid costly mistakes and ensure the success of your project.

VI.Conclusion

The right geotextile can make all the difference in the success of your project. Whether youre looking for a woven geotextile fabric for its strength and load-bearing capacity or a nonwoven geotextile for its drainage and filtration capabilities, understanding the types and benefits will guide your decision-making. Ultimately, choosing the best geotextile comes down to knowing the specific demands of your project and selecting a high-quality material that will meet those needs effectively. As a manufacturer of geotextiles, we are committed to providing the best products to help you achieve optimal results in your construction, landscaping, and civil engineering projects.

By carefully considering the materials, application, and environmental factors, you can confidently choose the geotextile that will work best for your project, ensuring durability, efficiency, and long-term performance.

Lee Johnson with EJ Nduka pinned Serpentico. Johnson went for the Code of Honor but Serpentico kicked it away and nailed him. Johnson was caught with headscissors and several pinfall attempts. Johnson came back with a big dropkick and did push-ups to show he wasn’t concerned about his opposition. Johnson sent him to the floor and scored a two count with a standing shooting star press. The Premiere Athletes cut him ff and worked over Billington. Billington was sent to the floor, where he was stomped. Daivari and Nese kept tagging in and out, controlling Billington. Billington finally turned the tide when he caught Nese with a dropkick coming off the buckles. Shibata tagged in and cleaned house. Billington locked on a crossface but the referee was distracted by Sterling. That alllowed Woods to pull Billington off. That distracted Billington, allowing Daivari to attack him. Shibata scored the pin after drilling Daivari with a kick to the face. Billington had nailed Daivari with a flying headbutt right before that. Good action.

*Lexy Nair came to the ring and brought out Billie Starkz, who looked crushed and unhappy. Nair brought out ROH Women’s Champion Athena. Athena said we saw another historic victory from the ROH Women’s Champion, but we aren’t here to talk about her. She told Starkz that they’ve had nothing but problems with her, they’ve tried to give her guidance but she still sucks. She complains and moans and all Athena does is try to help her. The crowd chanted, “Shut the F up” at Athena. She praised Lexy Nair’s work but said she’s made her decision. She turned to Billie and said it was just them for now on. She ripped on Nair for her poor ring introduction at the PPV, said she didn’t wear a Penguin costume as instructed to go with her Two-Face entrance and nearly cost Athena the match when she dropped a mic. She sad Nair was expelled. Nair left. Athena told Billie it was her and minion forever. Starkz was confused and dismayed – her body language was great here – but they embraced and left together.

*Toni Storm defeated Rebecca Scott. Very technical bout early on. Scott drilled her with a running knee to the face in the corner and followed up with strikes to face and upper body. The crowd chanted for Storm. Storm cut her off and nailed a swinging backbreaker. Storm hit a hip attack in the corner and Storm Zero for the pin.

*Blake Christian pinned AR Fox. Lots of AR Fox chants early. Christian nailed a tope into a tornado DDT on the floor. Christian worked him over on the floor for some time, including slamming him on the ring steps. Back in the ring, Fox tried to fight from underneath but was taken back down. Fox finally mounted some comeback but Christian again worked him over on the floor, including in front of some of the world famous Mistretta family members. Fox fought back but Christian raked his eyes and hit a standing Spanish Fly for a two count. Christian grabbed a steel chair from ringside but the referee stopped him. Fox dove over the referee to the floor and took out Christian. He nailed a top rope 450 splash for a two count. Fox looked to be bleeding a bit near the eye or nose. Christian caught him with a low-blow and hit a stomp to the mat for the pin. Christian’s facial expressions have really improved.
