Three New Segments Announced For WWE Raw On December 16

The lineup for next week’s episode of WWE Raw continues to take shape.

On Saturday morning, WWE announced the addition of three new segments for the December 16 episode of WWE Raw, which includes appearances by CM Punk, Seth “Freakin’” Rollins and Kofi Kingston’s hometown return in Boston, Massachusetts.

From WWE.com:

CM Punk

CM Punk is aspiring to enter the championship picture, but he seemingly has unfinished business with Seth “Freakin” Rollins.

Rollins has frequently called out The Voice of the Voiceless, though Punk called Rollins a “second-stringer” while being interviewed by Jackie Redmond.

Seth “Freakin’” Rollins

This Monday, Seth “Freakin” Rollins will be live on Raw, potentially on a collision course with CM Punk.

Rollins berated Punk last week and is focused on a match with his nemesis.

What will The Visionary say regarding The Best in the World this week?

Kofi Kingston

The New Day have set a new path after shockingly berating Big E and kicking him out of the group during their 10-Year Anniversary Celebration.

The emotional moment sent shockwaves through the WWE Universe, leaving Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods with very little support.

This Monday, Kingston will return to his hometown of Boston with the hopes of getting a much better reception than he and Woods received last week.

Will Kingston receive a warm welcome or be met with more hostility?

Also scheduled for the 12/16 episode of WWE Raw is The Judgment Day duo of Finn Balor & JD McDonagh defending their WWE Tag-Team Championships against The War Raiders team of Erik and Ivar, as well as Bron Breakker vs. Ludwig Kaiser for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Kevin Owens Mocks Cody Rhodes With Stardust T-Shirt, Non-Spoiler Lineup For SmackDown (12/20/24)

Ahead of their match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes exchanged some intense words on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown.

The segment began with Cody Rhodes preparing to unveil a gold gift given to him by Triple H. However, Owens interrupted, appearing from his car as he usually does. “KO” criticized Rhodes, calling him a bad friend, son, and husband. He also mocked Cody’s previous Stardust persona, stating that Rhodes was “way more interesting” in that gimmick.

Rhodes then charged to the backstage area to confront Owens. The two brawled their way back to the ring, with Owens gaining the upper hand. As officials tried to break them up, Owens delivered a nasty belt shot to Cody’s head, leaving him down in the ring.

It’s worth noting that Owens was wearing a Stardust t-shirt during the confrontation.

Her match on Rampage marked her first AEW match since a loss to Mariah May at All In.

In the match, Cameron dominated much of the early action, grounding Storm, but Storm fought back with a hip attack and ultimately hit the Storm Zero for the win. This victory marked her return to the AEW ring with a win. Notably, Storm transitioned from her “Timeless” persona, which she had adopted in recent months, back to her original rockstar persona, even changing her taunt to match her new (old) character after the match.

Bianca Belair Gets Special Partner For WWE Women’s Tag-Team Title Defense On 12/20 SmackDown

The WWE Women’s Tag-Team Championships will be on-the-line next Friday night.

During the December 13 episode of WWE SmackDown at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut, Bianca Belair approached SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis backstage as he was talking with Drew McIntyre just moments after the WWE Raw Superstar attacked the returning Jimmy Uso in the ring.

Aldis informed Belair that her partner and one-half of the reigning WWE Women’s Tag-Team Champions, Jade Cargill, is still injured and not medically cleared to return to the ring. As a result, he tells Belair he sees no way around stripping Belair of the titles.

Belair pleads with Aldis not to, before Naomi, who was with Belair, spoke up and offered to step up and fill-in for Cargill and defend the titles with Belair. Aldis said he had to “run it up the flag pole,” but then told Belair and Naomi that if this were agreeable, they would have to defend the titles as soon as next Friday night.

Family Of Missing Long Island Girl, 14, Increases Reward To $15K

LONG ISLAND, NY — The family of missing Long Island teen Emma Gervasi has increased the reward for her safe return to $15,000, her father confirmed for Patch on Friday.

Gervasi, 14, has not been seen for nearly five days, after telling her stepmother that she was going outside to get something from her family’s truck, and then left with no coat and possibly no shoes, a family friend told Patch. She was seen getting into an unknown car, though a family friend says it is unclear whether she did so willingly or not, according to Stephanie Biondi.

In a Facebook post, her father, Frank Gervasi, describes the scenario as a “nightmare.”

In another post, he said the increased reward would be for anyone “who brings her home safe” or for information “leading to finding her.”

“Please take a minute to repost this so we keep her beautiful face out there,” the heartbroken dad wrote.

Find out what's happening in Patchoguewith free, real-time updates from Patch.

He said he was not available to speak on Friday morning due to the fact that he was actively looking for her.

Gervasi has not been seen since around 5 p.m. on Monday on Terrell Street in Patchogue, Suffolk police said.

She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and black leggings, according to her profile on the website of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

In another Facebook post, her father said she has brown hair and eyes, stands 5 feet, 4 inches tall, and weighs about 140 lbs.

“My daughter is still missing, please repost this and keep the feed hot — it only takes a minute,” he wrote Thursday morning.

In a text he told Patch, “I need to get her home. Time is of the essence.”

Suffolk police’s 5th Squad of detectives in Patchogue are investigating Gervasi’s disappearance, a spokesperson said Tuesday.

A police spokesman said her profile was added to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s website as a matter of routine.

It is not clear why the department did not send out an alert of its own, as is the case for missing children and vulnerable adults.

Anyone with information, can call Crime Stoppers’ anonymous tip line at 1-800-220-TIPS.

Gervasi said the family can be reached at 631-294-0265.

Latest Update On The Health Of Luchasaurus/Killswitch

Luchasaurus is reportedly recovering well after a serious health scare.

In late September, it was reported that the AEW wrestler was hospitalized due to double pneumonia, which had a severe impact on both of his lungs. The situation was dire, as his fiancé found him collapsed and rushed him to the hospital for immediate care.

Since then, Luchasaurus has been on the mend, and his condition has improved significantly.

Bryan Alvarez recently noted that Luchasaurus is “doing much better” and credits AEW’s medical staff and Tony Khan with saving his life. The report states,

“He is doing much better. I am told he is working hard towards a comeback and credits Tony Khan and AEW medical staff for not only being patient with this, but but also telling him to stay home the week before he collapsed, which may have saved his life. It was very serious.”

Prior to his health issues, Luchasaurus had been going by Killswitch in AEW storylines. He last wrestled in August at All In as part of the Casino Battle Royale.
