Some backstage news and notes have surfaced from the double WWE SmackDown taping on November 22 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

– Jade Cargill’s angle was apparently done to cover for a legitimate injury that she is dealing with. No other details are available at this time.

– Kevin Owens’ performance in his promo segment with Cody Rhodes on the 11/22 show was heavily praised by those within the company.

– Additional segments took place at the double taping that were not filmed in front of the live crowd inside the Delta Center, and thus, are not included in the spoiler reports for tonight’s show.

– Michael Kirshenbaum and Colin Clark were the writers for the opening and main event segments involving The New Bloodline and The OG Bloodline.

A Tornado Tag-Team match has been announced for next week’s WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 “go-home” episode of Monday Night Raw.

Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee take on American Made in a Tornado Tag Team MatchThe LWO and American Made will once again battle as WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio and WWE Speed Champion Dragon Lee will take on Julius and Brutus Creed.

The LWO knocked American Made out of the World Tag Team Title No. 1 Contender’s Tournament last month, and Mysterio and Zelina Vega defeated Chad Gable and Ivy Nile in a Mixed Tag Team Match on last week’s Raw.

Tired of losing, American Made will get another opportunity at Mysterio and his teammates, this time in an incredible Tornado Tag Team Match where everyone is a legal competitor at all times.

When the cameras stopped rolling for the November 22 episode of WWE SmackDown, the action continued inside the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Following the 11/22 live episode on the USA Network, The OG Bloodline and CM Punk remained in the ring, with “The Wise Man” Paul Heyman on the ring apron proudly watching on at the assembled WarGames team for WWE Survivor Series 2024.

WWE released exclusive post-show footage via their official YouTube channel, which shows the aftermath of the return of CM Punk and the news that he would be the fifth team member for The OG Bloodline.

The OG Bloodline stood side-by-side and threw up the ones, while “The Best in the World” stood next to them doing his own GTS (Go To Sleep) gesture.

In addition to that, WWE also released the complete segment that featured the returns of Heyman and Punk, which has already pulled over 1.5 million views as of less than 12 hours after being shared on the company’s YouTube channel.

As seen on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Paul Heyman and CM Punk made their return.

CM Punk wound up joining Team OG Bloodline, who will be facing off against Team New Bloodline at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024.

According to a report from WRKD Wrestling, Punk joining the OG Bloodline on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown will be used as fuel in the Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk feud that will be happening down the line. They tweeted,

“CM Punk joining Team OG Bloodline will be used as fuel in the Rollins/Punk feud in the future with Punk citing that he stepped up to help when Rollins didn’t. Still heading toward that Mania match. #Smackdown”

Ahead of the first of two shows being taped tonight, the ring announcer informed the crowd that they would be taping next week’s show after tonight’s live episode.

Apollo Crews defeated Giovanni Vinci in a dark match. Crews got the win via pinfall with a sunset flip. Crews appeared to hurt his shoulder during the bout.

Natalya defeated B-Fab by way of submission in a match taped for a future episode of WWE Speed on X.

WWE Network Support issued an e-mail blast to network subscribers in Europe announcing that the service will no longer be available starting on January 1, 2025.
