Vince McMahon has broken his silence.

The former longtime WWE Chairman surfaced on social media for a rare post on Twitter (X) on Monday.

In the post, McMahon issued a statement ahead of the premiere of the highly-anticipated “Mr. McMahon” docuseries on Netflix, which he personally took part in the filming of prior to the scandal with Janel Grant hitting the public.

“I don’t regret participating in this Netflix documentary. The producers had an opportunity to tell an objective story about my life and the incredible business I built, which were equally filled with excitement, drama, fun, and a fair amount of controversy and life lessons. Unfortunately, based on an early partial cut I’ve seen, this doe falls short and takes the predictable path of conflating the “Mr. McMahon” character with my true self, Vince. The title and promos alone make that evident. A lot has been misrepresented or left out entirely in an effort to leave viewers intentionally confused. The producers use typical editing tricks with out of context footage and dated soundbites etc. to distort the viewers’ perception and support a deceptive narrative. In an attempt to further their misleading account, the producers use a lawsuit based on an affair I ended as evidence that I am, in fact, “Mr. McMahon”. I hope the viewer will keep an open mind and remember that there are two sides to every story.”

Zelina Vega has partnered up with Hayley Miller of ComicBook.com for a cool holiday-themed venture.

On Monday, the Comic Book staffer wrote via X, “So excited to announce the project I’m working on with Zelina Vega. Leading up to Halloween, we’re dropping first looks at her upcoming cosplays. First up: Tokyo Ghoul! You’ll be able to read backstory into why she chose these characters!”

Soon after, the first photo of the WWE Superstar and LWO member dressed up as Ken Kaneki, one of the main characters from “Tokyo Ghoul,” which was initially released back in 2011.

“Here it is,” Vega wrote in response to Haley’s X post promoting their joint-venture.

“The All Mighty” is among the top big name free agents currently available for a promotion to snatch up at some point in the future.

As noted, there have been reports regarding Bobby Lashley and his former Hurt Business members in talks with AEW in recent weeks, and on the latest episode of his “Grilling J.R.” podcast, Jim Ross touched on this topic.

“Bobby’s hard to figure, he’s a complex guy,” Ross said. “Talented, yes. Looks phenomenal. It’s hard to say. Bobby, like I said, is very complex. He’s a different cat. He’s smart and sometimes smart people have a tendency to overthink things. If Bobby’s not in overthink mode, which I have no idea, I haven’t talked to him in years — if he approaches that way, he’ll do good. He’ll do really good because he’s going to be desirable.”

J.R. continued, “Like you said, Japan is an option. I don’t know the market is there, it’s not like it used to be, but you still can make a decent payday. Scott D’Amore could use Bobby Lashley, I think AEW could use Bobby Lashley. But it’s all a matter of the cash that you got to invest to get the talent on site and the creative that you’re going to use to utilize it.”

“The American Nightmare” has hit yet another milestone.

Cody Rhodes has been topping merchandise lists all over the place for WWE and peripheral events, such as Fanatics Fest NYC.

In an update, it is being reported that the Undisputed WWE Champion has hit the top five overall sales for any athlete or personality in Fanatics history.

Earlier this year it was noted that Rhodes had hit the top ten spot on that same list.

Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin sang the praises of Rhodes in a video that was widely shared via social media during this year’s Fanatics Fest NYC event, which also included Rhodes on a Facetime call with hip-hop royalty Jay-Z.

There are no other pro wrestlers or WWE personalities in the top five list with Fanatics.

A second match appears likely for the upcoming five-year anniversary edition of AEW Dynamite in two weeks.

On AEW Dynamite earlier this week, All Elite Wrestling confirmed Will Ospreay vs. Ricochet for the AEW International Championship at the upcoming AEW Dynamite 5-Year Anniversary show scheduled for October 8 at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

During AEW Collision on Saturday, a vignette aired announcing Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D’s return for the 10/8 show in her hometown.

Before the main event on the 9/21 Collision show, Serena Deeb spoke about her victory over Queen Aminata and issued a challenge to Baker for a match against the former AEW Women’s Champion in her hometown of Pittsburgh at the 5-Year Anniversary show.

Two new matches have been announced for the annual Grand Slam special edition of AEW Dynamite.

During the September 21 episode of AEW Collision, it was announced that The Learning Tree trio of Chris Jericho, Big Bill and Bryan Keith will square off against The Conglomeration trio of Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe and Kyle O’Reilly.

Additionally, a Lumberjack Strap match was announced.

The bout will feature “The Last Outlaw” Jeff Jarrett going one-on-one against “Hangman” Adam Page in a match where Dark Order, Bang Bang Gang, The Conglomeration, Jay Lethal and Satnam Singh will each have four foot long, four inch wide leather straps that they will surround the ring with.

An article that ran in WWLP Channel 22 out of Springfield, MA. has an estimated amount for the amount of business expected to be generated by tonight’s live AEW event in the city.

The article states that tonight’s live episode of AEW Collision, which is the first for the market, “is projected to have an economic impact of approximately $220,000.”

Additionally, it was noted that today was officially declared “AEW Day” in Springfield, MA. Darby Allin was in attendance for the announcement of the news. Also appearing were The Outrunners, “Smart” Mark Sterling and Mayor Domenic Sarno.

AEW on MAX is coming.

The digital subscription streaming platform is expected to play a big role in the new AEW deal with Warner Bros Discovery.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter confirmed the news this week in a F4WOnline.com Premium article.

“Those close to the situation have confirmed MAX being part of the PPV package, although it’s not detailed yet as to what form this will take,” Meltzer wrote.

As noted, John Ourand reported recently that AEW and WBD will announce their new media rights deal as early as next week.

Tony Khan wouldn’t confirm the reports, however he did say he is confident that AEW will be on TBS and TNT for “a long time” during an appearance this week on SiriusXM’s Busted Open Radio.

“I know they have been reporting things that are very interesting. There are a lot of reports and rumors. I have not confirmed and Warner Brothers has not confirmed anything officially,” Khan stated. “I think we have a really exciting future there. I can say with 100% certainty, AEW and TBS and TNT are here to stay for a long time.”
