Three Matches Announced For Next Week’s Vengeance Day “Go-Home” Episode Of NXT On USA

The lineup for next week’s episode of WWE NXT has started to take shape.

 

On Tuesday night, WWE announced three big matches for next week’s Vengeance Day 2024 “go-home” episode of NXT on USA.

Scheduled for the show next Tuesday night at 8/7c on USA Network from the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, FL. is Noam Dar vs. Von Wagner for the NXT Heritage Cup, Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams vs. LWO in the Dusty Classic Semifinals, as well as Lola Vice vs. Elektra Lopez.

Previously announced for the show, Chase U says their “final goodbyes.”

Timothée avait été le candidat star des 12 Coups de midi sur TF1 en 2017. Que devient-il aujourd'hui ?

De mars à juin 2017, il a occupé la place tant convoitée de Maître de midi dans Les 12 Coups de midi, l’émission quotidienne de Jean-Luc Reichmann sur TF1. Battu après 29 Coups de maître et la découverte de trois étoiles mystérieuses, Timothée avait empoché une cagnotte de plus de 353 000 euros de gains et de cadeaux. Depuis, cet agriculteur de l’Aveyron, qui était très apprécié des téléspectateurs, a continué son petit bonhomme de chemin, notamment sur le petit écran.

Timothée s’est illustré dans Questions pour un champion

Vrai passionné de jeux télé, Timothée et son immense culture générale sont ensuite allés faire un tour du côté de France 3 et de Questions pour un champion. Le jeune homme a de nouveau brillé dans l’émission aux côtés de Samuel Etienne, y restant champion plusieurs semaines. On a ensuite pu le voir dans la spéciale des 12 Coups de midi Le combat des maîtres, ou encore dans Le Quiz des champions, présenté par Cyril Féraud sur France 2, en 2022 et en 2023. En septembre 2023, Timothée confiait à Télé-Loisirs son prochain projet télé : “L’année prochaine, j’aimerais bien retenter ma chance à Questions pour un champion. Mais ce n’est pas du tout une idée fixe parce que j’ai une vie bien remplie. Participer aux jeux télé, c’est très passionnant mais ça prend du temps donc il faut que j’arrive à m’imposer des barrières.”

Timothée plutôt discret sur sa vie privée

Côté vie personnelle, Timothée Cros a fait le choix d’une relative discrétion. En 2022, cet agriculteur aveyronnais dévoilait être toujours un coeur à prendre. Pourtant, il ne semble pas être dans une quête absolue de l’âme soeur. Aucun risque donc à ce qu’on le retrouve un jour sur M6 dans L’amour est dans le pré, en dating de Karine Le Marchand. “Non, je ne me vois pas du tout y participer. WWE President Nick Khan Confirms Raw Will Remain On Monday Nights Following Netflix Announcement

WWE Raw will remain on Monday nights.

 

WWE President Nick Khan confirmed this news during an interview on the Pat McAfee Show, which he appeared on to discuss the red-brand’s big move to Netflix in 2025. The deal is said to be worth $5 billion and is up to ten years, with Netflix having the option to either extend another ten years or opt out after five years.

Khan also says that Raw could potentially work on another night of the week if they ever decide to move days.

At this moment in time, it remains Monday Night Raw. Keep in mind, we have ten and a half months until this deal is up and running. We’re looking at what you’re looking at and what everyone else is looking at, you have a proliferation of gambling with Monday Night Football. You have an enhanced Disney package, better games. You have the Manningcast. This year, it was on ABC and ESPN. Last season, the playoff game they got was Tom Brady at the Cowboys. You also have the college national championships, football and hoops, on Mondays. You have a lot of Mondays where there is stiff competition. That said, even against Alabama-Michigan and Washington-Texans game a few weeks ago, Monday Night Raw did a .6 in the 18 to 49 demo, which is a massive rating against big competition. If we stay on Mondays, it’ll work, if we move to a different day, we think it’ll work too.

Along with the Netflix announcement it was revealed today that The Rock would be joining TKO’s (WWE & UFC) Board of Directors. That deal came with the Great One gaining ownership over “The Rock” trademark. You can read his thoughts on that here.

CEO's Murder: Coachella Valley Students Go To Court For Mock Trial

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — The murder of a chief executive and the revelation of a plot to commit corporate fraud represent the basis for the fictional trial, People vs. Clark, which Riverside County students from 22 high schools will adjudicate throughout January and February at the 42nd Annual Riverside County Mock Trial competition organized by the Riverside County Office of Education.

Mock Trial involves students arguing cases in front of real judges while being scored by practicing attorneys. The competition is open to all students in grades 9 through 12 enrolled in public and private high schools in Riverside County.

Teams consist of eight to 25 students filling the courtroom roles of defense and prosecution attorneys, witnesses, clerks and more.

Attorneys, judges, and legal professionals from across Riverside County are among the 14,000 students who have participated in Mock Trial now in its 42nd year of competition. The month-long competition is sponsored by Riverside County Superior Courts, the Riverside County Bar Association, and the Riverside County Office of Education.

The fictional case materials provide the facts and legal background for this year’s trial, People v. Clark. Sunshine Medical Components Chief Executive Officer Kieran Sunshine was found murdered in a hotel room with apparent stab wounds from a small saber used to open champagne bottles. A plot to commit fraud against the SMC board of directors surfaced, and the prosecution believes this was a motive for the murder.

However, multiple executives at SMC — both of whom are family members of the deceased chief executive — may also have had motive or involvement. A review of the forensic evidence, collection techniques, and the legality of technology-focused warrants, will contribute to the fictitious trial.

The opening rounds will take place on Thursday, January 25, in three locations across Riverside County (first team listed is prosecution, second team is defense):

The final competition will be held on Thursday, February 22, at 6 p.m. at the Riverside Historic Courthouse (4050 Main Street, Riverside).

The winner of the Riverside County Mock Trial will represent the region at the California Mock Trial Competition March 22-24 in Los Angeles. The state winner will advance to the National Mock Trial that will be held May 2-5 in Wilmington, Delaware.

In the 2023 Riverside County Mock Trial finals, Murrieta Valley High School defeated Martin Luther King High School to secure the championship for the first time in school history. Third place was shared by Notre Dame High School and Hemet High School.

Good Samaritan Aids Spencer's Crossing Crash Victims: CHP

MURRIETA, CA — Two vehicles collided Monday, temporarily trapping five people inside the cars, California Highway Patrol officers said. According to CHP dispatch reports, a passerby at the scene helped at least three people from the wreckage.

Shortly before 1 p.m., a white van and another car collided in the area of Max Gilliss Boulevard and Leon Road, near Spencer’s Crossing in Murrieta, CHP officers said.

“A good Samaritan got three of the five people involved in the crash out of the vehicles,” CHP officers said.

The crash was between a Honda and a Ford minivan, according to officers. Tow trucks were called to the scene to clear the wreckage, and it was not immediately known if the wet roads affected this crash.

Two patients with minor to moderate injuries will be transported to an area hospital, Cal Fire spokesperson Maggie De La Rosa told Patch. No extrication was necessary for those victims.

Hogwarts Hall Pop-Up Coming To Farmingdale's Alibi Lounge

FARMINGDALE, NY — Get transported into the world of “Harry Potter” at Alibi Lounge’s Hogwarts Hall pop-up, set to run from Jan. 26 through March 3 at 230 Main St., Farmingdale.

Entry tickets start at $10 for the event and $5 for Trivia Thursday. Tickets include 90-minute reserved seating and a souvenir Butterbeer stein. The events are for adults only.

Cocktails will feature dry ice drinks, color changing creations, create-your-own potions, shareable drinks and more.

The food menu will include small plate items such as All American Wontons and pretzel nuggets, as well as shareable items, including a three-cheese dip, pizzas and more. There will also be desserts.

“We love giving people different experiences to enjoy,” Alibi owner Pete Dragone told Patch.

The success of the Jack’s Nightmare and Grinch pop-ups inspired Alibi and its team to throw around other themes.

“We thought the Harry Potter theme would create a great experience from the decor to the interactive cocktails,” Dragone said. “We are very excited and take pride in creating the ultimate themed pop up experience. So come on down to Alibi, escape reality, and welcome to Hogwarts.”

Diffusé ce soir sur TF1, Harry Potter et l’Ordre du Phénix, cinquième volet de la franchise, contient lui aussi son lot d’easter eggs et de clins d’oeil à repérer. En ouvrant l’oeil au bon moment, vous pourrez ainsi observer un caméo photographique de James et Oliver Phelps, ou encore des détournements magiques de boîtes de céréales.

Mais le détail qui va nous intéresser aujourd’hui, dissimulé au beau milieu du film, est encore plus surprenant que les autres. Pour le trouver, il vous faudra faire un arrêt sur image à 1 heure, 13 minutes et 44 secondes du long métrage, dans la scène où Harry discute avec son parrain Sirius Black, face à la fresque généalogique de ce dernier.

Issu d’une lignée de sorciers au passé plutôt lugubre, Sirius évoque alors ses origines auprès de son filleul en lui montrant la tapisserie. Outre les portraits noircis de certains membres (effacés car jugés indignes de rester dans la famille Black) ou les noms de plusieurs ancêtres faisant régulièrement référence à des étoiles ou à des constellations, on peut également remarquer, à gauche de la porte, un blason des plus étranges (voir ci-dessous).

Située en bas à gauche de l’écran, il s’agit d’une sorte de sirène coiffée d’une couronne, et dotée de deux queues de poisson. Si cette image vous dit quelque chose, c’est tout à fait normal. Il s’agit en effet du même emblème que celui que l’on voit sur les enseignes de la célèbre chaîne de cafés américaine Starbucks : un logo qui aurait d’ailleurs été emprunté à une gravure de bois scandinave du XVème siècle.

La famille de Sirius Black, en plus de compter parmi les plus illustres lignées de sorciers, contiendrait-elle des ancêtres spécialisés dans la vente de café ?

Another Big Singles Match Announced For Next Week’s WWE RAW

The post-Royal Rumble episode of WWE Monday Night Raw is getting quite stacked already.

 

As noted, WWE announced two title bouts for next Monday night’s three-hour WWE on USA Network show from Tampa, FL., with #DIY challenging The Judgment Day for the Undisputed WWE World Tag-Team Championships, and Kofi Kingston challenging GUNTHER for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

In a third bout set for the show next week, “Big” Bronson Reed challenged “Main Event” Jey Uso to a singles showdown, noting both are out for gold in 2024.
