Fightful Select is reporting that Punk is participating in ongoing talks for an in-ring return. The report indicates that a contract, return date, creative, and other details are unknown at the time. High officials in WWE believe Punk is heading to AEW, though neither the company or Punk have confirmed the news.
Punk has not wrestled a match since the 2014 Royal Rumble. Punk walked out of the WWE after the event and has only dabbled in non-wrestling roles in various places since.

The WWE Raw Women’s Championship match at Summerslam has officially been set.
On this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville revealed that Nikki A.S.H would defend her newly won championship against both Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley at WWE’s annual summer event.

Nikki A.S.H kicked off the show to celebrate last week’s Money in the Bank cash-in and championship victory. Charlotte interrupted and claimed Nikki’s victory wasn’t credible due to Rhea Ripley’s involvement. Charlotte then laid claim to a rematch. That statement brought out Ripley and she claimed the same. With both women vying for a title shot, the Raw authority figures settled the issue and booked the triple threat. Later in the show, Nikki lost a singles match to Flair in the main event.
Summerslam airs live on Peacock on Saturday August 21 from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

AEW has announced an early lineup for the July 15th episode of Collision from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
After defeating FTR on tonight’s show in an eliminator match Jay White and Juice Robinson will challenge the Top Guys for the AEW tag team titles next week in a 2-out-of-3 falls matchup. Along with this the men’s and women’s Owen Hart tournament finals will take place next Saturday. Check out the lineup below.

I’m not sure what possessed me to listen to young Edgar Moreau’s Erato recording, Offenbach & Gulda: Cello Concertos, with Les Forces Majeures conducted by young Raphaël Merlin. Was the moon in that phase when it appears to be laughing at we earthlings? All that is certain is by the time I had heard but a minute of the first movement of cellist/composer Offenbach’s concerto, it was clear that I’d be laughing through at least half of the notes that lay ahead.
Mind you, there are a lot of notes, in both concertos. If you want to hear the cellist’s equivalent of guitar shredding, if only to dismiss the very notion of cello shredding as absurd, skip the Offenbach and head to the middle Cadenza movement of pianist/composer Friedrich Gulda’s Concerto for cello, wind orchestra, and band. As you hear Moreau breathe heavily while he saws away in a manner that you would never expect from a Casals, Piatigorsky, or Rostropovich—this is music that only a young man with stamina to burn and a hearty sense of the absurd would dare undertake—you might also reflect on the fact that many cellists would never dare “lower themselves” to undertake the concerto that Gulda wrote for Heinrich Schiff in 1980. It’s just too far afield. Gulda doesn’t just defy norms; by jumping from rock’n’roll to Tyrolean pastoral to a minuet with tambourine and guitar, only to conclude with a circus romp whose three rings morph into more than a passing nod to Stephane Grappelli’s hot jazz, he’s questioning the very basis for normalcy in music.
As for Jacques Offenbach, whose concerto predates Gulda’s by 133 years, do you really expect the champion of the cancan to compose a “Concerto militaire” for concerto and orchestra that takes military expeditions seriously? Instead of gravity, Offenbach gives us one light operatic line after another to savor. He also throws in multiple drum and horn fanfares, and, in his final movement, a faux-military version of off-to-the-races that might have gotten him court martialed were it not for the fact that he had the ability to charm a military tribunal into applauding wildly and yelling “Encore!”
You may find yourself applauding the performance rather than the sonics. Even in 24/96 WAV format, the soundstage is somewhat limited, and the sound lacks life and sparkle. But Moreau’s virtuosic playing more than compensates. When all is said and done or, in this case, heard, some may be tempted to ask themselves why any cellist would work so hard to master these two ultimately inconsequential, bow and forearm-breaking concertos. The answer is simple: Despite all the grunts and sweat and strain, they are probably having a ball showing off all they can do while you, in turn, are laughing out loud at the absurdity of it all.

In general, components do not remain listed for more than three years unless at least one of the magazine’s writers and editors has had continued experience with them. How recommendations are determined
The ratings given components included in this listing are based entirely on performance-ie, accuracy of reproduction-and are biased to an extent by our feeling that things added to reproduced sound (eg, jitter, distortion, colorations of various kinds) are of more concern to the musically oriented listener than are things subtracted from the sound (eg, deep bass or extreme treble). On the other hand, components markedly deficient in one or more respects are downrated to the extent that their deficiencies interfere with the full realization of the program material.
We try to include in “Recommended Components” every product that we have found to be truly excellent or that we feel represents good value for money. Bear in mind that many different tastes are represented. The listing is compiled after consultation with Stereophile‘s reviewing staff and editors, and takes into account continued experience of a product after the formal review has been published. In particular, we take account of unreliability and defects that show up after extended auditioning. The fact that a product received a favorable review cannot therefore be regarded as a guarantee that it will continue to appear in this listing.
The prices indicated are those current at the time the listing was compiled (January 2019). We cannot guarantee that any of these prices will be the same by the time this issue of Stereophile appears in print.
There is a near-universal consensus that at some point in the upward climb of component prices, severely diminishing returns (performance versus price) set in. However, there is no agreement as to the exact price level at which that takes place. Where we have found a product to perform much better than might be expected from its price, we have drawn attention to it with a $$$ next to its listing. After two matches on AEW Rampage, the semifinals are now confirmed in the Blind Eliminator tag team tournament and will take place on this Wednesday's Dynamite from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.
In one, AEW World Champion MJF & Adam Cole will take on Big Bill & Brian Cage. Bill & Cage defeated Matt Sydal & Trent Beretta Friday to advance while MJF & Cole defeated The Butcher & Matt Menard on Wednesday's Dynamite.
In the other, AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy & Darby Allin will face Sammy Guevara & Daniel Garcia of the Jericho Appreciation Society. Guevara & Garcia advanced Friday with their win over Jeff Jarrett & Matt Hardy while Cassidy & Allin edged out Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland on Wednesday's Dynamite.
The eventual tournament winners will earn a future AEW Tag Team title shot.

ELMONT, NY — The Belmont Stakes could be postponed this year, due to the poor air quality from Canada wildfires.
Gov. Kathy Hochul, along with the Gaming Commission, announced enhanced measures on Thursday to protect horses at New York State racetracks from smoke, haze and pollution, effective immediately.
“As New Yorkers continue to experience unhealthy air quality as a result of Canadian wildfires, we must all work to ensure that animals – including these peak-performance equine athletes – are protected,” Governor Hochul said. “The measures being implemented at tracks across New York State are effective steps to keep all those who participate in the sport safe now and into the future.”

If the air quality index (AQI) exceeds 200 at a specific facility, no racing or training may be conducted at that track.
If the AQI is between 150 and 200 at a specific facility, only those horses that pass an additional pre-race respiratory veterinary examination will be permitted to race.

The measures are tied to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s AQI, which includes a range of index values.
Patrick McKenna, vice president of communications for New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) told Patch in a statement that they are monitoring the air quality for the 155th Belmont Stakes, scheduled to take place on Saturday.
“This guidance was arrived at in consultation with the New York Racing Association and is grounded in our shared efforts to provide the safest possible environment for training and racing thoroughbred horses,” said McKenna. “NYRA will continue to closely monitor air quality in and around Belmont Park in the coming days, and we remain optimistic that conditions will allow for the resumption of training and racing on Friday in advance of the Belmont Stakes on Saturday.”
NYRA canceled its live racing Thursday at Belmont Park due to poor air quality conditions forecast to impact Long Island and all of New York State throughout the day on Thursday, its website said.
In addition, morning training was canceled at both Saratoga Race Course and Belmont Park. Thursday’s twilight racing program, which featured a 3:05 p.m. first post to kick off the 2023 Belmont Stakes Racing Festival, was also cancelled.
All Thoroughbred and Standardbred racetracks in the state are directed to implement additional protocols based upon the track’s AQI, which considers the amount of particle pollution, ground-level ozone, and toxic gases (carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide) in the air.
The AQI varies from location to location and changes throughout the day.
As with humans, particulates in the atmosphere can build up in horse respiratory systems, causing serious health problems, including eye and respiratory tract irritation, a release said.
Poor air quality can also irritate pre-existing conditions, including recurrent airway obstruction (heaves), as well as exercise-induced pulmonary hemorrhage. High concentrations of smoke and particulates can cause persistent cough, nasal discharge, wheezing, an increased effort to breathe and altering of the immune system.
In addition, all people interacting with horses are urged to review veterinary guidelines for smoke and extreme weather.

C’est officiel ! Après une première saison qui a rencontré un franc succès, la chaîne M6 a décidé de lancer une deuxième édition de son jeu Les Traîtres. Le concept est connu des joueurs puisqu’il s’agit d’une adaptation du jeu de cartes Le loup-garou. L’émission sera diffusée le mercredi soir et contrairement à la précédente saison, ce ne sont pas 14 mais bien 18 personnalités qui vont s’affronter dans ce “jeu de mensonge, de manipulation et de trahison où tous les coups sont permis”. Cette année, les téléspectateurs retrouveront donc Jean Lassalle, Laura Flessel, Kheiron, Gennifer Demey, Vincent Cespedes, Tibo InShape, Jujuficats, Nathalie Marquay-Pernaut, Tom Pernaut, Norbert Tarayre, Claude Dartois, Vincent Desagnat, Caroline Margeridon, Charlotte de Turckheim, Natasha St-Pier, Andy Raconte et Kristofer. Mais ce n’est pas tout, Guillaume Pley, âgé de 37 ans fera également partie du casting et viendra défendre l’association Les petits princes.
Une voix emblématique de la radio
Et si son visage ne vous dit rien, sa voix elle, vous sera sans doute familière. Et pour cause, pendant de longues années, sept ans précisément, il a officié sur la station NRJ avec son émission Guillaume Radio 2.0 sur la tranche du 21h – 00h. Mais malheureusement pour lui, la station le remerciera en 2018 pour confier la place à Aymeric Bonnery, ancien candidat de Secret Story. Désormais, ce n’est plus à la radio qu’il officie mais sur internet. Après avoir fait un passage éclair en tant que chroniqueur dans Touche pas à mon poste, il lance sa propre émission sur YouTube, Le QG, co-animée avec Jimmy Labeeu et diffusé chaque vendredi à 18h30 dans laquelle il reçoit plusieurs artistes pour évoquer son actualité. Un programme aujourd’hui arrêté.
Un animateur aux multiples casquettes
Un programme qui a cartonné et qui a donné envie au père de famille, victime d’un violent home jacking en 2021 avec sa compagne et son bébé alors âgé de 6 mois, de se lancer dans un projet encore plus grand, la création en janvier 2023 de son propre média, Legend. Guillaume Pley est donc un véritable touche à tout puisqu’il a également sorti deux livres, fait des apparitions dans plusieurs films ou séries, mais est aussi le créateur de son propre jeu de société, Mempakap, et a également été producteur de plusieurs court-métrages. Autant de casquettes qui lui permettront donc de se glisser parfaitement dans la peau de nombreux personnages afin de duper au mieux ses camarades de jeu.

Alors que “Dune” devait à l’origine n’avoir que deux parties, il semblerait bien qu’une troisième soit finalement en préparation…
Denis Villeneuve de retour pour un Dune 3, c’est en bonne voie ! Lors de sa sortie en 2021, le premier film avait connu un tel succès qu’une suite avait alors rapidement été annoncée, Denis Villeneuve prévoyant alors d’adapter le premier roman de la série littéraire épique de science-fiction de Frank Herbert en deux parties.
Alors que Dune : Deuxième Partie se prépare, Warner Bros. a récemment publié une bande-annonce pour la suite tant attendue, qui réunira à nouveau Timothée Chalamet dans le rôle de Paul Atreides et Zendaya dans celui de Chani. Cependant, Deadline (via ComingSoon) rapporte désormais que le volet serait finalement le deuxième d’une saga de trois films. Le critique de cinéma en chef de Deadline, Pete Hammond, a également confirmé un Dune 3 au site World of Reel : “Denis dit que c’est le plan”, a-t-il déclaré.

Mais hanté par de sombres prémonitions, le jeune homme se trouve confronté au plus grand des dilemmes : choisir entre l’amour de sa vie et le destin de l’univers.
En attendant de pouvoir découvrir le second volet, Dune (2021) est à redécouvrir en streaming sur MyCanal.
L’empire d’Evguéni Prigojine est-il en train de s’effondrer ? Deux semaines après la mutinerie des mercenaires du groupe Wagner en Russie, plusieurs indices semblent attester d’un démantèlement des biens et des entreprises de leur célèbre chef. Un effacement progressif, à l’image du quartier général de la milice russe, à Saint-Petersbourg, où le célèbre logo “W” a été retiré des vitres jeudi 2 juillet.

Médias, relais d’influence, entreprises de restauration, patrimoine financier… Le tout-puissant Evguéni Prigojine, dont la localisation fait l’objet de nombreuses rumeurs, est en train de perdre, pièce après pièce, son empire financier, selon les révélations de plusieurs médias russes.
1Des sites d’information bloqués
Les relais d’influence d’Evguéni Prigojine privés de voix. Des portails d’information appartenant au groupe médiatique Patriot, proche du patron de Wagner, ont été bloqués dès le 30 juin par le gendarme russe des télécoms. Plusieurs sites d’actualité politique et économique russe, dont Ria Fan, tous liés au groupe d’Evguéni Prigojine, étaient inaccessibles depuis la Russie, ont constaté des journalistes de l’AFP.
Leurs adresses internet figurent dans le registre “accès restreint” de Roskomnadzor, l’agence gouvernementale russe chargée de bloquer les contenus illégaux et extrémistes, mais aussi les médias et autres ressources bannies par les autorités. D’autres médias liés au groupe Patriot, Nevskie Novosti et Ekonomika Segodnia, ont annoncé qu’ils cessaient leurs activités, selon leurs chaînes Telegram respectives.
Jusqu’en mai, le patron de Wagner était à la tête du conseil d’administration du groupe médiatique Patriot, créé en 2019, et ensuite vice-président de son conseil d’administration, selon les médias russes. D’après The Guardian, les autorités russes semblent également en train d’absorber la société Internet Research Agency (IRA), une usine de trolls liée à Evguéni Prigojine, surtout connue pour son ingérence dans l’élection présidentielle américaine de 2016.
2Des contrats publics résiliés
Le “cuisinier” de Vladimir Poutine voit également le socle de son empire s’éroder. Ses sociétés de traiteur et de restauration, dont le navire amiral Concord, qui fournissait les plats des soldats russes depuis une quinzaine d’années, ont perdu tous leurs lucratifs contrats publics, raconte Ouest-France. Le conglomérat était poursuivi, depuis des années, pour des manquements répétés aux normes d’hygiène et des tromperies destinées à rogner les coûts, rappelle Libération.
Le coup est rude pour Evguéni Prigojine, car ces contrats avec l’armée étaient juteux. Le 27 juin, Vladimir Poutine avait lui-même reconnu que l’Etat avait “complètement financé” le groupe Wagner, soulignant que l’entreprise de restauration Concord, détenue par Evguéni Prigojine, avait “en même temps gagné 80 milliards de roubles”, environ 850 millions d’euros, grâce aux commandes publiques russes.
“J’espère qu’au cours de ces opérations, personne n’a rien volé ou, pour ainsi dire, ‘volé peu'”, avait poursuivi le président russe. “Bien sûr, nous nous occuperons de [vérifier] tout cela”, avait promis l’autocrate russe, lors d’une réunion avec des responsables militaires diffusée à la télévision après le coup de force de Wagner.
3Une perquisition menée chez lui
La fortune personnelle d’Evguéni Prigojine est également dans le viseur des autorités russes. Des médias russes ont diffusé mercredi des images de la perquisition dans la demeure du chef du groupe paramilitaire Wagner, menée à Saint-Pétersbourg, lors de sa tentative de rébellion armée fin juin. Ces photos, visiblement prises par les forces de l’ordre et publiées soudainement dans plusieurs médias publics et privés russes, montrent une vaste et luxueuse maison, avec un hélicoptère stationné dans le jardin.
Lors de la perquisition, selon ces clichés, les enquêteurs ont également découvert des liasses de dollars et de roubles, des lingots d’or, de nombreuses armes, mais aussi plusieurs passeports avec des noms différents et une armoire remplie de perruques. Le site Fontanka, basé à Saint-Pétersbourg, a également rapporté qu’une photo avec des “têtes tranchées” avait été retrouvée au domicile d’Evguéni Prigojine, alors que ses mercenaires sont régulièrement accusés d’exactions.
Fontanka a aussi publié un cliché montrant une énorme masse disposée dans une pièce de la maison d’Evguéni Prigojine et dont la tête en métal porte le message “En cas de négociations importantes”. La masse est l’un des symboles du groupe Wagner, qui se vante d’utiliser cette arme pour exécuter ou torturer sauvagement ses ennemis.
