Pittsburgh-Area Restaurant Announces Closure After 65 Years

McKEESPORT, PA — The Elbow Room, a fixture in McKeesport for 65 years, has announced it is closing after a final farewell party on Sunday.

The announcement was made on the restaurant’s Facebook page.

“We extend our deepest gratitude to the city of McKeesport for embracing us and providing a home for The Elbow Room all these years. It’s been an honor to serve this community, and we are immensely grateful for the memories, friendships, and support we’ve received throughout our journey,” the post stated.

Though our doors may close, the spirit of community and camaraderie that thrived within these walls will live on in our hearts forever.”
