GAMBRILLS, MD — Snap Fitness is opening a new gym this fall in Gambrills.
The 24/7 facility expects to open in mid or late September.
The center will span 11,257 square feet in the Crofton Station shopping center. It will offer personal trainers and group fitness classes.

This is the second Snap Fitness in Anne Arundel County. The other is in Annapolis.
“We know you are eager to know when you can start experiencing Snap Fitness Crofton,” the gym said. “We will be ready to announce our founders memberships sale and opening day soon.”
Snap Fitness will partially fill the vacancy left by Giant Food, which moved across the street in January 2023.
Crofton Station has undergone some changes since Giant relocated.
The former Giant space has since been split into three storefronts. A Michaels craft store opened earlier this month, occupying one of the units. The Fresh Market grocery store will debut in the other slot by the end of the year.
Always Ice Cream is opening soon in the former Philly Pretzel Factory a few doors away. Legion Martial Arts is also slated to join the shopping center.
There are not yet exact opening dates for The Fresh Market, Always Ice Cream or Legion Marshall Arts. They all plan to welcome their first customers this fall.
Other new businesses that opened since Giant left include Chase Bank, Nekter Juice Bar, Taichi Bubble Tea and Sugaring NYC.
