Mudslides, Crashes, Pot Holes, Rescues: See Storm's Stunning Numbers

LOS ANGELES, CA — Even before a final burst of heavy rain slammed the Southland Wednesday evening the numbers associated with the historic storm were staggering: nine dead statewide, more than 5oo mudslides across Los Angeles, 102 mph wind gusts, and more than 13 inches of rain in Bel Air.

Just one week into the month, and this is already among the wettest February’s on record.
