AEW News: CIMA signs full time contract, Fight for the Fallen pre-sale code, Allin signs with AEW, Fyter Fest announced, more

-The latest episode of Being the Elite: “Spellbound” has several news items revealed. The biggest news coming out of the episode was that CIMA has signed a full time contract with AEW. CIMA is scheduled to partner with two wrestlers from OWE against SCU at Double or Nothing on May 25. The end episode also teases the singing of longtime Young Buck rivals The Super Smash Brothers. Before leaving his phone on a chair, Nick Jackson also discusses signing a tag team from the east coast.

The latest episode of Being the Elite also reveals that the pre-sale code for Fight For The Fallen is “AEWFIGHT.” Tickets go on sale at ticketmaster.com tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. EST. Tickets will then go on sale to the general public at 9 a.m. EST on April 19.

Fight for the Fallen is set to take place at Daily’s Place Amphitheater at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Fla on July 13. It was also announced on Being the Elite that AEW’s charity partner for Fight for the Fallen will be Jacksonville’s Victim Assistance Advisory Council.  A press release from AEW included an initial talent lineup for the event that includes Cody, The Young Bucks,  Chris Jericho, PAC, and Hangman Page.

-Darby Allin has signed with AEW. He finished up with Evolve during WrestleMania weekend and his signing was announced on Double or Nothing last week.

-On the latest episode of Double or Nothing released today. It was announced that Brandi Rhodes would face Allie at Fight for the Fallen on July 13. The episode featured Brandi talking to Allie on the phone under the guise of setting up a match under friendly competition, but later Brandi is shown calling in a favor for someone to be at the show to help her.

-AEW announced on Twitter today that Kenny Omega will face CIMA at Fight for the Fallen on July 13.

-MJF and Sunny Daze have been added to the Over the Budget Battle Royale at Double or Nothing on May 25. Daze is the main editor of the Road to Double or Nothing and DDP is shown in the latest episode talking about his journey in life and as a pro wrestler. Their involvement in the match was confirmed in the latest episode of The Road to Double or Nothing. Joey Janela, who has been feuding with MJF leading into the show, was also shown in the video saying he’s already at 100% and he’ll be at Double or Nothing. Also entered into the Over the budget Battle Royale are Sonny Kiss, Kip Sabian, Brandon Cutler, Ace Romero, Glacier, and Brian Pillman Jr.

-AEW is partnering with CEO Fighting Game Championships for Fyter Fest  on June 29 at the Daytona Beach Ocean Center in Daytona, Fla. Last year Kenny Omega and NJPW partnered with CEO Fighting Game Championships for an event. The lineup so far for the show includes Darby Allin vs. Cody, CEO organizer Alex Jebailey vs. Michael Nakazawa in a Hardcore match, and The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks) vs. PAC & Pentagon Jr. & Rey Fenix.

-AEW announced another addition to the female side of their roster on Twitter, as Japanese wrestler Hikaru Shida has signed with the company.
